About the Artist
Raylene is a Central Coast artist who paints contemporary abstract landscapes.
Influenced by a lifelong love of the Australian bush landscape, her paintings imbue a sense of peace and wonder of the natural beauty where she has always found harmony.
From childhood adventures with her family, Raylene feels a deep connection to the bush and the living creatures that call it home. Her love of the Australian gum tree has been a constant source of inspiration.
With minimal gestures and marks, her paintings let the viewer imagine their own experiences and discoveries.
A self-taught artist, Raylene graduated from the International School of Colour and Design and attends classes at the Kenthurst Art Shed under the stewardship of Elizabeth Green.
